[FoCHAT] 2/28/07 New and Much Improved Closing Documents For Option-1 RHP Grants

Dear FoCHAT Members,
   
  We are indebted to CHAT Exec. Bd. member Karen Fontana for her excellent, perceptive, and persistent work on the RHP closing documents. New documents are now in effect, as we have been told by applicants who went to closings in NO today. By tomorrow afternoon the new and old documents will be posted at our http://chat.thinknola.com site along with an explanatory letter about the changes by Karen. 
   
  We are also grateful to Cathleen Carney and her staff at First American Title for so quickly and effectively getting them to the point that they have now replaced the old documents after their finalization by RHP and State officials only this weekend.
   
  There are other problems to be corrected with the closing documents, some of which will be posted at the CHAT website, but at least the most pressing problems for Option-1 grant closing documents have been satisfactorily solved.
