Why is the Road Home not pushing to get the additional 30k mitigation money out so people can start raising their houses?? The only program there is a little info about is the $7500 grant. 

If you want to live in N.O. and not flood and you don't trust the levees, RAISE YOUR HOUSE.  Shutters and backflow valves in toilets ain't gonna do it. Gomez
