Dear Road Home Applicants,
1. Report on CHAT Meeting with ICF Staff Present To Give Applicants Updates
Most applicants who came to our special CHAT meeting at which ICF staff members, including senior ones, did online computer tracking of grant applications, found this quite helpful. The ICF staff who came from Baton Rouge for this session were very accommodating, especially given the fact that we had to do this out of doors in the heat due to the closure of UNO buildings on account of the break of a water main.
2. Those who have gone to their grant closing and are disputing or appealing the final amount, here is new information from ICF about how you can contact the RHP about your status.
The phone for post closings appeals is 1-888-401-9110. This toll free number was set up specifically to allow applicants who have been to their first closing and would like to discuss a potential second disbursement. The following are some important facts to remember
1. Applicants must have completed their first/initial closing to utilize this number
2. The advisor will take the callers full name, Road Home applicant ID number, date of initial closing, closing amounts and nature of call
3. All calls will be returned within 48 business operation hours.
4. Should an applicant need to mail or fax information back to the post closing department, they should use the following information: (225) 231-1516 (fax # only), or mail to
The Road Home Program, Post Closing Department, P.O. Box 3749, Baton Rouge, LA 70821
The call center can now forward calls requesting information once the applicant has been to their first closing.
