Dear Concerned Citizens,
   
  1. I want to encourage those of you who are fortunate enough to be rebuilding now or soon to use our newly expanded function at the CHAT website

   Road Home Questions and Building or Contractor Information – Ask questions of other Road Home applicants and offer each other advice about contractors in general, specific good or bad experiences with contractors, building questions, and what to look for in your contract. 
  We will also be posting some links for building contract information.
   
  2. On another topic, we will post links for public records requests of your Road Home files if you are unable to find the critical answers to your questions about what is in your files. It is not easy to get this information, but you have the right to it.
   
  3. We now have well over 500 responders and over 650 responses to both CHAT surveys. Some people took both surveys and that is great because they are different. We want more and as soon as possible. It takes 3 min. You may skip any question. There is a open box at the end for comments. We welcome anyone who is or was a RHP applicant to fill it out. If a friend or neighbor does not have internet access, you may fill it out for them, if they give you permission. These have been very important for detecting trends in the RHP operation.

  Core CHAT members are working very hard on issues that are the outgrowth of these surveys. Stay tuned.
