WATCH LIVE: Louisiana Recovery Authority Board of Directors Meets in Baton Rouge
  
BATON ROUGE, La. (June 25, 2007) - The Louisiana Recovery Authority's Board of Directors is meeting today at the Louisiana State Capitol. The board will consider a resolution to reallocate funds originally intended for state building repairs to the Road Home program and vote on a funding formula for school repairs. 

After a presentation from the City Council of New Orleans and Dr. Ed Blakely, the board will receive the Unified 
New Orleans Plan (UNOP) and consider the approval of the New Orleans Strategic Recovery and Redevelopment Plan. State Superintendent Paul Pastorek will also provide the board with an update on education recovery.

The board will also receive a briefing from the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Interagency Performance Evaluation Task Force Risk and Reliability Report released earlier this week. Both the LRA's Audit Committee and Housing Task Force will also provide updates on their work.
